Privacy Policy

  1. Overview. This policy explains what data Songnara Studio collects and how it is used. Songnara is a desktop application; most of your work stays on your own device. We do not require you to create an account or provide personal profile information to use the App.
  2. Data We Collect.
    • Anonymous diagnostics & telemetry: a non-reversible device identifier, app version, operating system, hardware information (such as CPU/GPU), and sanitized error/diagnostic details used to fix crashes and improve stability. File paths and personal identifiers are stripped before sending.
    • License & subscription data: a device identifier and order reference used to validate your trial, subscription, or lifetime license.
    • Local-only data: your projects, media, settings, and any AI provider API keys you enter are stored on your device and are not uploaded to us.
  3. Payment Data. Purchases are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited. Payment card details are collected and handled by Paddle under Paddle's privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment card information.
  4. How We Use Data. To validate licenses, diagnose crashes, understand feature reliability, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell your data.
  5. Third-Party Processors. We rely on: Paddle (payments), our cloud database/hosting provider (license and anonymous telemetry storage), and — only if you enable them — AI providers you configure with your own key, and cloud storage such as Google Drive that you connect. Data sent to those services is governed by their policies.
  6. Telemetry Opt-Out. You can disable telemetry in the App's settings. License validation may still require minimal connectivity.
  7. Data Retention. Diagnostic and license data are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above, then removed or aggregated.
  8. Your Rights. You may request access to or deletion of data associated with your device identifier or order by emailing [email protected]. Depending on your location, additional rights (such as under the GDPR) may apply.
  9. Children. Songnara is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).
  10. International Transfers. Data may be processed in countries other than yours, with appropriate safeguards.
  11. Changes. We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will reflect changes.
